Research

Research fields: Quantum optics, Quantum information, precision measurement physics

Research focus: Based on the mechanical oscillator, atomic ensemble and other experimental systems, we carry out theoretical and experimental research on the preparation, manipulation and application of quantum states.

Research platform:

1. Cavity Photomechanics Experimental Platform

(1) Laser cooling of macroscopic mechanical oscillators.

(2) Preparation and manipulation of squeezed and entangled states of light and mechanical resonators.

(3) Quantum simulation and quantum computation based on cavity optomechanical system.

(4) High-sensitivity optomechanical magnetometry.

2. Atomic ensemble experimental platform

(1) Preparation and manipulation of atomic spin squeezed and entangled states.

(2) Precision measurements beyond the standard quantum limits.

(3) Quantum manipulation based on atomic ensembles.

(4) High-sensitivity atomic magnetometry.
