Title: Loosely bound states in relativistic nuclear collisions
Speaker: Peter Braun-Munzinger (EMMI)
Abstract: Light nuclei and hyper-nuclei are copiously produced in nuclear collisions at hadron colliders. We will present the experimental situation and discuss how such fragile structures are produced close to the QCD phase boundary, even though their binding energies are orders of magnitude smaller than the average momentum of produced hadrons.
BIO: Prof. Dr. Peter Braun-Munzinger is the Scientific Director of ExtreMe Matter Institute(EMMI).
